The results of a questionnaire survey carried out at lower-secondary schools in the Ústecký Region will be presented, and the situation in peripheral areas in Poland will also be described. In addition to recommendations for managing these negative impacts, examples of inspiring practice from the period of school closures and other government measures in the field of education during the Covid-19 pandemic will also be presented, including the program of the organization People in Need – online tutoring and support for education with the involvement of volunteers (by Dr. Vít Šťastný)
